On November 30th, EvoSwitch is bringing its online marketplace OpenCloud to life for the day – offering you the opportunity to meet the OpenCloud Community face to face and discuss and share their latest service offerings and plans for cloud implementations. Combined with a strong line-up of speakers that share their cloud vision and unveil the market developments they foresee, OpenCloud Live will be a must attend event.

Please be aware that all presentations will be held in Dutch.

Dr. Ir. Linda Kester is an entrepreneurial researcher and expert on strategic innovation. Over the past decade she has worked with hundreds of executives across industries to help them build stronger innovation portfolios. The last couple of years, her interests have focused strongly on the IT sector, working with firms across the entire spectrum of digital innovation. Linda holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology and is a frequently invited speaker and moderator.

Laurens Lapré works on topics such as Smart Mobility, ITS, Demand Influence, Behavior Change, Gamification, Big Data and Mobility Analytics. Data is everywhere around us, sometimes even without realizing it. Through our smartphones, social media and sensors in public transport, car parks and traffic lights, all kinds of data are collected and linked together. In his presentation, Laurens shows how to combine all the data from those sensors to new services. Services that change consumer behavior, affect demand for transport, and can encourage more sustainable mobility choices.

Jan Paul Dekker, CTO, NL-ix, studied Information Technology at the HIS in The Netherlands. While developing products for the Broadcast Industry Jan Paul was asked to lead RTL Netherlands’s digital productions division. Together with his team of designers, software engineers, service- and system-architects he built most of RTL Netherland’s digital assets, a large portfolio of websites, mobile applications and connected TV applications. Currently Jan Paul is transforming NL-ix into an agile, customer central, event driven company that will continue to be successful in the exponentially growing Interconnection market.

Frans Feldberg is professor in Data-Driven Business Innovation at the School of Business and Economics at the “Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam”. He is cofounder and director of ‘the Amsterdam Center for Business Analytics’ (www.acba.nl). Furthermore Frans is cofounder of Data Science Alkmaar.

Frans Feldberg’s presentation will feature the ‘Why, What and How’ of big data and data driven business model innovation. How has the world changed in respect to data over the past few years? Why is big data analytics an important digital innovation that is high on many management agendas? Why are organizations investing considerable amounts in big data and data science? How are organizations able to create value by both improving the existing business model and by developing new data-driven business models. These are the questions that will be answered during the presentation.
