EvoSwitch is actively involved in various organizations to be always aware of the latest innovations and regulations within our industry. With memberships to include The GreenIT, Climate Neutral Group and The EU Code of Conduct, we want to create social awareness among our employees and customers for energy efficiency and increasing the economic potential of the local IT industry.

The Climate Neutral Group

The Climate Neutral Group assists companies on the path towards becoming climate-neutral by measuring their carbon footprint and advising on reduction, and offsetting what they can't reduce. This approach to carbon management enables companies to lower operational costs while simultaneously contributing to a better environment.

The Green Grid

The Green Grid is a global consortium of IT companies and professionals seeking to improve energy efficiency in datacenters and business computing ecosystems around the globe. The organization seeks to unite global industry efforts to standardize on a common set of metrics, processes, methods and new technologies to further its common goals.

Dutch Datacenter Association

The Dutch Datacenter Association connects the market-leading datacenters in the Netherlands to strengthen economic growth of the industry and drive awareness of datacenters in Dutch society.
The Dutch Datacenter Association is the representative of the successful Dutch datacenter sector, the foundation of our online digital economy and Europe's Digital Mainport: Digital Gateway to Europe. EvoSwitch holds a place in the Board of the Dutch Datacenter Association.

The Northern Virginia Tech Council

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) is the membership and trade association for the technology community in Northern Virginia. As the largest technology council in the nation, NVTC serves about 1,000 companies and organizations, including businesses from all sectors of the technology industry, service providers, universities, foreign embassies, non-profit organizations and government agencies. Through its member companies, NVTC represents about 300,000 employees in the region.

Nederland ICT is the trade association for over 500 IT, telecom, internet and office companies in the Netherlands. Nederland ICT represents a business community with a turnover of almost €30 billion and over 250,000 employees making it the foremost advocate and representative of the Dutch ICT and Office sector. Nederland ICT activities are grouped into three core programs: Business Promotion & Applications, People & Talent and Knowledge & Skills.

Present Your Startup

Present Your Startup is an accelerator program and successful pitch event. The platform connects startups to capital by organizing events, assisting startups and finding appropriate financing for a startup. Present Your Startup foundation was inspired by the TV program Dragons Den and Shark Tank, but the idea behind it was completely new and innovative. Present Your Startup is an initiative of Valérie who registered the brand HaarlemValley ® because of the emergence of the concept in Haarlem in 2014. The first two editions of the pitch event became known as the Harlem Valley. In 2016 it was decided to continue under the name Present Your startup.

Data Center Pulse

Data Center Pulse (DCP) is a growing, non-profit, datacenter industry community founded on the principles of sharing best practices amongst its exclusive membership. Founded in late 2008, DCP is quickly becoming an industry nexus for the explosive datacenter industry’s operators and influencers. DCP’s mission is to align end users to share information thereby influencing the industry by defining, adopting and driving best practices and next generation solutions. The DCP members are the individuals that evaluate, recommend and purchase the products and services for the datacenter. They represent billions of dollars of annual purchases that drive the IT economy.

EU Data Center Code of Conduct

The EU code of conduct for datacenters is an initiative of the Joint Research Center of the European Commission. It provides guidelines, recommendations and examples of best practice which could lead to a reduction in energy consumption by data centres in Europe of up to 20%. The key aim of the code of conduct is to encourage datacenter operators to reduce energy consumption without hampering the performance of such facilities.

The mission of the Amsterdam Economic Board is to sustainably enhance the prosperity and well-being of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. To achieve this we work together with the business world, governmental agencies and knowledge institutes, focussing on collaboration, innovation and growth.

Our ambition is for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (AMA) to have secured a position among the top 3 of Europe’s innovative regions by 2025. We can achieve this by creating solutions for urban challenges that will contribute to the liveability of the region.
